Snap Music…What is with the Names?
I am with this guy. I don’t know why people always have to put a new name on something…well, I do actually, but I think it is silly. I can understand wanting to draw attention to a new artist or to something else, but as a consumer I hate it.
Until D4L’s ubiquitous No. 1 hit “Laffy Taffy” piped out of cell phones and pop radio stations last winter, most people, not even dedicated Atlanta hip-hop fans, had ever heard snap music. And what is snap music, anyway?

Its not bringing down the level of hip hop. I know that hip hop has taken a huge fall in the last few years as music has become so ignorant. bottom line is, snap music makes ppl move and thats what hip hop is about (somewhat) to make you feel good. Just because hip hop is changing doesnt mean its dying.
